Ponny:
Ponny burst onto the Danish music scene with explosive, catchy punk/rock and musical freedom. The trio blend Riot grrrl, teenage pop and anti-folk with humour and seriousness. The lyrics are about idiots, bad sex and wildness, delivered with screeching guitar, fast bass and drums. Ponny is unbridled energy and versatile vocals. Laura, Anna and Asta celebrate the spontaneous and the raucous, without apologising for themselves, and they have a lot on their minds, but despite their cute exterior, they’re fed up with bullshit!
